Colab Dry Shampoo

Over the past few years dry shampoo has become a dressing table staple for me. I have until now been loyal to Batiste but I do like to try different products from time to time to see if anything can rival the position of my favourite dry shampoo.

Ruth Crilly (aka A Model Reccomends); model, Youtuber, and beauty blogger is someone of whom I think very highly. She's stunning, has a heart of gold and has a very genuine, friendly and approachable personality. She's on a short list of bloggers that I regularly follow and would love the privilege to meet. I find her very inspirational. Anyway, intro and fan girl moment aside, she recently released a line of dry shampoos called Colab and more recently she has added to the line with a different version to give extreme volume to the hair whilst also absorbing oil as a traditional dry shampoo would.

Colab Dry Shampoo is available to buy from Superdrug and FeelUnique.com for a very affordable price of £3.49. Unlike the Batiste alternative, Colab dry shampoo is completely invisible and never leaves me with a white or grey powdery residue. This is very important to me as when I'm rushing out without washing my hair the last thing I want is to look like I either have severe dandruff or grey hair.

The product is very quick and easy to use; simply separate hair into sections and spray at the roots about 30 centimetres away from your head. Massage in, leave for a minute or two to absorb the oils, then you can either brush it out or leave it in to give more volume to your locks.

Colab dry shampoos come in a range of beautiful fragrances named after famous cities. I love the scent of nearly all of them; it's definitely something to have a whiff of next time you're in Superdrug. I have to say it's nice to apply dry shampoo for once and not be overwhelmed by a strong baby-powder-esque scent.

This is one of the most effective dry shampoos I have used. It isn't as heavy duty as Batiste however for day to day use it's perfect, as it does the job and makes your hair look and smell beautiful.

  10. Hello! Quick question that's entirely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone.
I'm trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this issue.

If you have any suggestions, please share. Many thanks!

    1. Hi, do you use Blogger? When you click on 'Template' in the menu on the left hand side of your blogger home page, it gives you the option of customising your 'Live on Blog' and 'Mobile' designs. This is how you optimise the appearance of your blog on mobile devices. Feel free to as anything else if you want. Hope that helped!
