Top 5 Travel Makeup Palettes

I am a big fan of makeup palettes, their so convenient as you have so many shadows or products all in one palette as opposed to having individual products. This means that they're great for travelling! I have my top 5 for you today!

The most versatile, and in fact the cheapest is the Collection #FaceTheDay palette (review here) as it has 4 eyeshadows, and a blusher, bronzer and highlighter! So all you'd need to add is foundation, concealer and mascara and you're good to go! It comes in slim, light packaging making it easy to carry around and the powders are great quality for the price! So lovely! I'd highly recommend this for beginners or those who want everything in one handy palette.

Next up is my absolute favourite palette and it's from Nars, which is fast becoming a favourite brand for me! This is one of their limited edition christmas cheek palettes with a bronzer, highlighter and 3 gorgeous blush shades! However they are always brining out new similar cheek palettes so keep your eye out! This would be great to take away alongside an eyeshadow palette. However, you can use these colours as eyeshadows, I often use highlighters all over my lid and then blend some bronzer through my crease for added defintion.

Next up is an eyeshadow quad in 010 Cosmic Bronze from the Fleur De Force collection but there are so many great affordable eyeshadow quads that can be used to create day to night looks. This is one is full of natural colours but there really is something for everyone. Eyeshadow quads are the most travel friendly in terms of size and weight as they're so small and compact.

Next up are two very popular options from Urban decay. First off is the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette, which gives you a matte blusher, a shimmery highlight and a natural brown bronzer.

Last of all is the travel size matte version of the oh so famous Naked palettes - the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette! With 6 matte, super creamy and blendable eyeshadows you can create so many looks for different occasions! Perfect for the neutral lover! From a gorgeous light base or brow bone highlight to mid toned browns for the crease and a dark chocolate brown and a black for adding extra definition or liner!
